Book Week

We all dressed up as our favourite book characters to celebrate World Book Day. Throughout the day lots of book related activities took place across the school. We had story telling sessions, world book day token competition, sharing stories with our friends from different year groups and the launch of our Fantastic Book Award Challenge from the children in 5 Cedar.

The challenge was set by the children in year 5 and the aim was to read as many books as possible over the Easter holidays. We had lots of children participating in this mammoth challenge and several winners from both Key Stage 1 and 2. These children were the overall winners:

KS1
Asiya 1 Birch
Maryam 1 Birch
Maryam 2 Holly
KS2
Muhammad 5 Cedar
Aaishah 5 Cedar
Ayaan 5 Larch
