Aim High Learning

Focuses on structured, high-ability, and engaging activities. Designed to foster skill development, confidence, goal-setting and academic growth.

What is A.I.M. High?

A tailored high quality, aspirational and deepening learning experience for children to be able to – Achieve, Inspire and Master. A.I.M. High days provide a wonderful opportunity for children to delve deeper and master greater challenges.

Who is it for?

Children who demonstrate a particular talent or flair (working at, or towards greater depth) and have the potential to work beyond their current level.

Authors Abroad/A.I.M. High are proud to be working in partnership with NACE, the National Association for Able Children in Education. They aim to provide challenging and enriching opportunities for more able learners and raise achievement on a whole-school level.

A.I.M High Maths Day -

Workshops are held and will include the use of puzzles from the past, thinking about how we can use logic to ensure that we understand the strategies needed to win.

The group will also look at working in different number bases other than base ten as well as looking at ancient and different number systems.

Children will then invent their own number systems, sharing their ideas with each other and justifying their thinking.
