St Stephen’s School Council is led by Mrs Farrimond and is made up of pupils from EYFS, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two.
We meet weekly to discuss school issues and plan future events. This year we have been involved in various projects including:
- Supporting Fair Trade at our school and working with a local Fair Trade representative.
- Reading and editing some important school documents.
- Promoting our British Values in school.
Upcoming Events led by the School Council
Summer Term One
We are holding a 'Laughter Day' in school this half term. We will be planning and leading various events in school in the hope of making our classmates and teachers laugh.
We will then be presenting what we did on our Laughter Day to our friends from other School Council's in our local schools. Look out for our presentation on our webpage!
Summer Term Two
We are planning a 'Poetry Festival' to finish off the school year. We will be running this in school and hope this will inspire more children to take an interest in poetry. Most of all we hope that our classmates will see how fun poetry can be! We will post some pictures of the Poetry Festival soon.
