Following our Basic Skills Assessment in July 2018 I am delighted to inform you that we were highly successful in achieving the Award. The assessor was extremely positive about the quality of teaching and learning and the way in which our children were able to talk about their learning. She also recognised the strong partnership we are developing with parents and how this contributes to our improving standards. We were also able to showcase how our text based curriculum and enrichment activities contributes to learning across the curriculum.

We had story telling sessions, world book day token competition, sharing stories with our friends from different year groups and the launch of our Fantastic Book Award Challenge from the children in 5 Cedar.
