The Great Get Together
Dear Parents,
We will be celebrating our annual ‘Great Get Together’ on Thursday 19th June to support the Jo Cox Foundation. The day will be packed with lots of fun activities, lessons and opportunities for the school community to come together to celebrate our differences and feel part of the whole school community.
There are few things you can take part in/do to support us on the day and we’d be really grateful for your support:-
- 8.30am – join us on the track for our mindful mile walk. Bring along 50p or £1.00 if you’re feeling hungry as croissants, pain au chocolats and waffles will be available for a light breakfast snack for both you and your child. (All proceeds will go to the Jo Cox Foundation).
- Non-uniform day. Your child can come to school on Thursday 19th June in their own clothes. We are politely asking for a donation in return of a FULL, UNOPENED box of cereal. We will be creating a domino rally of cereal boxes for fun and then donating all cereal to Blackburn Foodbank.
- 2.30pm – we will be opening up the Plaza and the parent room; serving tea, coffee and biscuits. This is an opportunity to chat with parents and staff and enjoy a light refreshment in the spirit of the ‘Great Get Together.’ This is a treat just for parents. There will be a donation box for us to collect any loose change to add to our money raising funds.
