Spellings

At St Stephen's we teaching spellings using the 'No Nonsense' spelling scheme. This scheme is intended to show a clear progression of spelling throughout the whole school. The scheme will work in conjunction with the SPAG progression and will be taught discretely each week. If spelling lists are sent home, then these will reflect the rules that are currently being taught within the class. Please ask your child what rules they have been learning in school and try to find examples of these in the books that they are reading.
